Nancy is probably best known for her annual calendars - in which have featured mainly floral and cat subjects but which have included fly fishing and vineyards. Nancy has put out three instructional dvds/video tapes on watercolours and has been involved in ten books, both as illustrator and writer. Over 500 people have attended the watercolour workshops she ran for some years. In addition she has illustrated four stamp issues - commissioned by the postal authorities of Bhutan, Pitcairn Islands and her native New Zealand.

Nancy's style of watercolours is quite unique... Her uncompromising technical ability and the way she captures the effects of light on her subjects, has made her one of the world's leading watercolorists. Her work has universal appeal and has found favour in many countries.

In May 2007, Nancy was appointed Patron of Watercolour New Zealand... a post she was honoured to accept.

2008 is Nancy and Bryan Tichborne's 23rd year in calendar producing and publishing. Their business - the New Zealand Calendar Company Limited is a small but thriving operation - firmly based on the premise that one should always treat customers as you would your friends.
